A/Prof Hari Raju offers expert heart rhythm, sports cardiology and genetic heart disease knowledge and care to patients in Sydney in a fully coordinated and seamless patient-centred manner with his in-house cardiologist colleagues. He has achieved the highest international qualification in his field: European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) Certified Electrophysiology Specialist Level 2 (ECES).

Dr Hari Raju undertook over 10 years of training in cardiology before commencing in specialist practice as a Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Macquarie University and Concord Hospitals in Sydney. His international standing and academic credentials have been recognised by the award of his Conjoint Associate Professor status at the prestigious Macquarie University, in addition to being invited to the Editorial Board of the European Cardiology Review journal.

He was first awarded his medical degree from University of Leeds (UK) in 2001. After several years as a physician trainee in UK and New South Wales, he commenced 3.5 years of general cardiology training based in Cardiff (Wales) in 2006, followed by a further 3.5 years as a cardiology and electrophysiology clinical research fellow at St George's Hospital (London, UK). Having been awarded his PhD doctorate from St George's (University of London, UK), he went on to complete a further 3.5 years of subspecialty clinical cardiac electrophysiology training at leading international institutions: St Thomas' Hospital (London, UK); St George's Hospital (London, UK); and Royal Melbourne Hospital (Australia). Dr Raju developed specialist knowledge of the niche areas of: sports cardiology and the athlete's heart; genetic heart disease; ablation and cardiac implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators and biventricular devices. This extensive training was undertaken under the aegis of multiple internationally renowned and world-class mentors: Prof Jon Kalman and Prof Jitendra Vohra (Royal Melbourne); Prof Mark O'Neill and Prof C Aldo Rinaldi (St Thomas' London UK); Dr Mark Gallagher, Prof Elijah Behr and Prof Sanjay Sharma (St George's London UK).

Dr Rominder Grover is a consultant cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in multimodality cardiac imaging including echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. He graduated from the University of Melbourne as a National Medicine Scholar with First Class Honours in 2006. He completed his Basic Physician Training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital followed by Advanced Training in Cardiology at St Vincent’s Hospital.

He returned to Australia in 2017 after completing a postgraduate clinical and research fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada with a particular emphasis on imaging for Structural Heart Interventions.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and holds Level B accreditation in reporting Cardiac CT with the Conjoint Committee for Reporting Cardiac CT in Australia. He also has expertise in reporting Cardiac MRI equivalent to Level 3 accreditation with the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. In addition to imaging, he has strong interests in heart failure and preventative cardiology. He is passionate about teaching and education, and regularly delivers seminars to his medical colleagues including general practitioners and medical students, in his current roles.

Dr Grover is a Staff Specialist Cardiologist in Sydney Local Health District and is also appointed at Macquarie University Hospital.
